As part of its ongoing efforts to promote green industry and environmental sustainability, the Green Industry Center<\/strong> signed a cooperation agreement with the Libyan Iron and Steel Company<\/strong>, reaffirming both institutions’ commitment to advancing the industrial sector through environmentally responsible practices and supporting Libya’s transition toward a green economy.<\/p>\n

The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation in several strategic areas, including carbon emissions measurement<\/strong>, carbon footprint assessment<\/strong>, the implementation of sustainable energy projects<\/strong>, and capacity building and human resource development<\/strong> in line with internationally recognized standards. These initiatives aim to enhance environmental performance and optimize the use of energy and natural resources within industrial facilities.<\/p>\n

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Green Industry Center<\/strong> by its Director General, Dr. Mustafa Al-Aib<\/strong>, and on behalf of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company<\/strong> by its Chairman, Dr. Mohammed Abdulmalik Al-Faqih<\/strong>. The signing reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to strengthening cooperation, exchanging expertise, and supporting the objectives of sustainable industrial development.<\/p>\n

This partnership reflects the Green Industry Center’s vision of building strategic alliances with national institutions to accelerate the adoption of sustainable industrial practices.
