Green Industry Center Explores Supplying an Armed Forces Facility with Solar Energy
The forum featured a series of documentary screenings and scientific presentations delivered by leading experts. The sessions covered the investment potential of the jojoba tree in Libya, the development stages of the Green Energy Belt Project and its environmental and economic benefits, as well as biotechnology applications in modern agriculture and renewable energy initiatives aimed at reducing carbon emissions.
The event also welcomed distinguished participants from the Arab Republic of Egypt, including Dr. Mostafa El-Sherbiny, Director of the Institute for Sustainable Development and Carbon Footprint, and Dr. Magdy Melouk, Former Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Egypt.
The forum concluded with a scientific panel discussion featuring the Green Industry Center, during which participants exchanged views on the key themes of the event. The discussion highlighted the importance of integrating green energy, modern agriculture, and sustainable development strategies to support environmental sustainability and foster green economic growth.
The forum was organized as part of the accompanying program of the Libya Clean Exhibition, hosted by Al Nakhlah Al Modi’ah Company under the patronage of the Ministry of Local Government, at the Tripoli International Fair from 23 to 26 November 2025.
