As part of its commitment to strengthening institutional integration and promoting knowledge exchange among the institutions of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, the Green Industry Center hosted separate meetings of the Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation Committee and the Permanent Archives Committee, with the participation of representatives from the Ministry’s affiliated entities.

The meetings opened with welcoming remarks by Dr. Mustafa Al-Aib, Director General of the Green Industry Center, who welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of such meetings in supporting institutional development, strengthening cooperation among government institutions, and encouraging the adoption of modern technologies to enhance operational efficiency and improve the quality of public services.

Both meetings were chaired by Mr. Mohammed Belkhair, Director General of the Industrial Information and Documentation Center, in his capacity as Chair of both committees. Discussions focused on a range of topics related to strengthening institutional systems and improving administrative and technical performance across the Ministry’s institutions.

The Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation Committee examined opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence and digital transformation technologies to modernize administrative processes, improve service delivery, and enhance institutional efficiency in line with the latest technological developments.

Meanwhile, the Permanent Archives Committee discussed mechanisms for improving archival systems and document management practices, with a focus on adopting modern standards that ensure the secure preservation of official records, facilitate efficient access to information, and support the transition toward digital administration.

By hosting these meetings, the Green Industry Center reaffirms its commitment to supporting institutional initiatives that enhance the work environment, accelerate digital transformation, and promote the adoption of smart solutions that improve organizational efficiency and sustainability.
