The Green Industry Center concluded the activities of the first cohort of the “Certified Green Energy Manager Diploma” program, with the participation of engineers and specialists from the Green Industry Center, Misrata University, the General Electricity Company of Libya, and Misrata Free Zone, as part of its ongoing efforts to build national capacities in energy management and sustainability.

The program witnessed strong engagement from the participants and covered the latest concepts and practical applications in energy management, resource efficiency, and international best practices for rationalizing energy consumption. These areas contribute to supporting the transition toward sustainable industry and promoting the principles of the green economy within institutions and industrial facilities.

The program also provided participants with an opportunity to exchange expertise and knowledge and strengthen their ability to apply modern energy management solutions, in line with global trends toward improving energy efficiency, reducing emissions, and enhancing environmental sustainability.

The final assessment examination is scheduled to be held, followed by a certificate distribution ceremony for the participants by the end of next week, upon completion of all program requirements.

The Green Industry Center reaffirms its commitment to continuing specialized training programs that contribute to preparing qualified national professionals, promoting a culture of energy efficiency and green energy, supporting national efforts to achieve sustainable development, enhancing the competitiveness of the industrial sector, and accelerating the transition toward the green economy.
