Green Industry Center Conducts Second Field Visit to Complete Solar Energy Project Study at an Armed Forces Facility
As part of the ongoing technical work for the project to study the supply of electricity to an Armed Forces facility through a solar energy system, the technical team of the Green Industry Center conducted its second field visit to the site on Sunday, July 5, 2026, to complete the field assessment and technical study in preparation for developing the project’s final design.
The visit was conducted as a continuation of the Center’s efforts to provide sustainable engineering solutions and support the expansion of renewable energy applications across various sectors, contributing to improved energy efficiency and greater reliance on clean energy sources.
The technical team completed the field inspection of the site and discussed the remaining technical details. The team also finalized the calculations related to the proposed system, determined the final design of the structure designated for the installation of solar panels, selected the appropriate location for the batteries, and identified the locations of the electrical panel and main switch. In addition, the distance between the well and the electrical panel was calculated to ensure that the project is implemented in accordance with the highest engineering and technical standards.
The visit also focused on completing the data required to prepare an integrated technical study, including the design of a solar energy system suited to the site’s requirements and capable of achieving high levels of efficiency and reliability, while taking into consideration the project’s technical and economic aspects.
This field visit is part of a series of activities carried out by the Green Industry Center within its technical and consultancy role, aimed at promoting the use of solar energy applications, expanding reliance on clean energy, and supporting the transition toward a green economy. These efforts contribute to achieving sustainable development goals and improving energy efficiency across various sectors.
