As part of efforts to expand the scope of services provided through the Green Industrial Transformation Program and facilitate industrial entities’ access to these services, preparations are continuing for the launch of the Green Industrial Transformation Office at the headquarters of the National Industrial Promotion Authority in the Tourist Area of Tripoli, in implementation of the directives issued by the Undersecretary General of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, Mr. Mustafa Al-Samou.

In this context, a team from the Green Industry Center conducted a field visit to the office on Sunday, August 9, 2026, to assess its level of readiness and follow up on the completion of the systems and technical equipment required, in preparation for commencing operations and receiving industrial entities seeking to benefit from the program’s services.

This step is part of the Center’s efforts to facilitate registration procedures and bring Green Industrial Transformation services closer to industrial entities, enabling them to become familiar with the program’s requirements, complete the enrollment procedures, and receive support in adopting sustainable industrial practices and improving the efficiency of resource and energy use.

For his part, Director General of the National Industrial Promotion Authority, Mr. Yousef Al-Shaibi, welcomed the establishment of the office at the Authority’s headquarters, affirming the Authority’s support for this initiative and its commitment to providing the appropriate conditions and mobilizing the necessary resources to ensure the office begins its work professionally and effectively.

The Green Industry Center confirms its continued efforts to complete the necessary arrangements and enhance the readiness of the Green Industrial Transformation Offices, thereby expanding the program’s services, strengthening communication with industrial entities, and supporting Libya’s transition toward a more sustainable, efficient, and environmentally friendly industrial sector.
