As part of the efforts to register industrial facilities in the Green Industrial Transformation Program, the Green Industry Center continues to participate in field visits conducted by the committee established in the Western Region. The visits target a number of companies and industrial facilities to assess their production activities and evaluate their operational requirements for fuel and petroleum products.

In this context, a team from the Center participated in a field visit to Emdad Libya for Plastic Industries and Al-Sail Plast for Plastic Industries, where the team reviewed the nature of the companies’ industrial activities, production lines, and operational capacities, in addition to assessing their fuel requirements necessary for their production operations.

The visit also included completing the assessment procedures related to the requirements for obtaining the Green Industrial Transformation Certificate, as well as reviewing the current conditions and needs of the facilities, contributing to the collection of the necessary data for evaluating their industrial operations and supporting efforts to improve their performance.

This participation is part of the field program implemented by the Center to identify industrial facilities and establish an industrial database, representing an essential step in implementing the Green Industrial Transformation Program and helping identify the needs of industrial institutions and opportunities to improve energy and resource efficiency.

The Green Industry Center reaffirms its continued participation in field visits to industrial facilities and its commitment to strengthening direct communication with them, supporting efforts to improve efficiency and environmental performance, contributing to the development of a more efficient and sustainable national industrial sector, and advancing Libya’s green industrial transformation.
