The Memorandum of Understanding was announced following the completion of the required approvals from the relevant authorities, as part of the efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions and support pathways toward green industrial transformation.

The Green Industry Center, represented by its Director General, had signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Global University for Science and Technology, represented by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gamal Kafafi, President of the University, at the Center’s headquarters in Misrata during July.

The MoU aims to establish a framework for cooperation between the two institutions in several key areas, including education, training, consulting, and capacity building, as well as supporting the development of qualified professionals and skills capable of contributing to the industrial transition toward sustainability, innovation, and the adoption of clean technologies.

The agreement also provides for cooperation in implementing training programs, scientific projects, and events related to green industry, in addition to exchanging expertise, knowledge, and relevant practices. This will contribute to strengthening technical and scientific capabilities and supporting efforts toward green industrial transformation.

The MoU reflects the Green Industry Center’s commitment to expanding academic and institutional partnerships and leveraging scientific and training expertise to develop national capabilities and support the application of sustainability, green economy, and clean technology concepts within the industrial sector.
